spine thickness and thickness behind the edge, please.. Is it kitchen-worthy?
I ground this from 1/8 inch stock so all the flats remains at 1/8. As best that I can measure with my limited tools the thickness at the secondary grind is about .035 inches.
Yes very usable in the kitchen; I posted this as a flat grind but because I grind by hand it will have a very slight convex shape on the grind, this works well for cutting foods. The handle is stabilized and is dishwater safe, just don't put it in the dishwasher!
