what make/model trucks you all drive ? AND whats your truck knife ? mine is a 09 toyota tacoma. got a old western fixed blade in the door pocket with flashlite. and buck 110 in the tool box. i think of these knives as emergency " tools " , not weapons.

I drive an '06 Toyota Tundra Double Cab, Limited, 4x4 w/ TRD Off Road Package.
I have several knives in my truck; a Delica 4 that has green G-11 scales, a Custom Ranger RD 4, a Victoinox Rescue knife, and 2 multi-tools.

I drive an '04 chevy silverado extended cab. It has been a great truck. I just duel exhausts on it last year, I plan on hanging on to this truck for a while. My knives that I keep inside are, my RAT3 in D2 between my seats, an old camilus double edged boot knife in the visor next to my benchmade resue hook, in the center console I keep my SOG powerlock, and finally in the tool box I keep a cold steel gurhka among other sharp tools and emergency equipment. I actually feel unprepared when I am not driving my truck.

I drive a Dodge Ram 2500 quad cab, powered by the 5.9 Cummins Diesel, through a 6 speed manual tranny. Cold Steel Gurka inside, plus what ever is in my pockets. This is my second Dodge Diesel, first one had well over 230K miles when it was totalled out, and this one has 125K on it, just now starting to run good. Twenty miles per gallon with a 6700 lb vehicle suits me just fine.

'06 Cadillac Escalade EXT. My truck knife is a Busse ASH-1. If I need a smaller blade, I always carry a Lg. Sebbie in a belt pouch, (I don't trust any clips).

O3 Chevy Silverado Z71 extended cab with leather and all the bells and whistles. To date 147,000 trouble free miles.

05 Chevy Silverado, extended cab. 44K miles on it. Been running great until the check engine light came on a month or two ago. Been uncapping and recapping the gas cap and that's worked for a while, but now I think an O2 sensor is out on it.

Been loving the 4WD in the snowy roads around KC though! :)

Edit to add a couple of knives are strewn around in tool boxes, got one of the small Cold Steel neck-knives in the center dash cubby.

05 Tacoma 4DR LTD TRD 4WD w/ Huntsman and Leatherman Micro in ashtray, and Leatherman CS4 in glove box.

You can fill it up, add some dry gas, in case moisture tripped an O2 sensor. Start the truck and let it run. Drive it around to mix the fuel well. If the check engine light stays on then remove the Neg. battery cable from the battery, keep it disconnected for about 10 sec. then reconnect, this will reboot the trucks computer.
If the check engine light stays on after, then it looks like you need a sensor.

anybody have a hatchet in their truck ? i got a old estwing leather handle behind the seat. never used it . yet.

Hehe....The only "truck" I ever owned:

A 1970 Datsun pickup. I got it to haul my dirt bikes, I was young and foolish and into motocross at the time.
Overall, a dreadful vehicle. No headroom, ineffective drum brakes, nasty vibrations, and no traction whatever in the rear till you put something really heavy back there.
It was reliable and made it's max torque at like 2500 rpm, so it was amazingly strong.
I only kept it a couple of years.

I drive a 2000 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab. I have at any given time these in it.

Scapper 6 and LM Super Tool.

2004 Hemi Ram quad cab, wife drives a 06 Hemi Durango :D

Truck knife is a Supertinker, mostly just incase I leave the house without a knife Ill have something to get by with. Never had to use it ;) :)

My truck is a 1995 F150 with 200,000 miles. Supercab, captains seats, stick shift, 4WD, XLT package.

I don't keep any knives in my vehicles.

Another Tacoma- '05 4x4 TRD Off-Road Access cab. Swamp Rat Camp Tramp, SAK (don't remember which, but it has a saw), Leatherman and folding shovel- oh, and a couple of folders in the BOB + whatever I add when I'm going off-road or camping (hatchet, hawk, machete depending on where I'm going)

2002 Dodge 3/4 4x4 with the Cummins diesel and all the other crap. This picture was taken about two years ago. It looks the same with the exception of a leveling kit in the front end, and Toyo M-55's that are a couple inches taller..
I bought the truck new, and it only has 108,000 miles.

As far as knives, I always have a Buck 110 in the door panel. Thats the only one I leave in the truck, because I always have at least one knife on me :D
It doesn't look like it in the pic, but this truck has spent a lot of time off road..
