I've tried to view pics on True North Knives site, but none of the thumbnails will come up. I use MS Internet Explorer version 6.
I never had any problems before. Is nyone else having the same problem?

I contacted Neil who said that he has heard of some problems with those using Netscape Navigator, but that shouldn't apply to me.:(

Any "tech" guys out there have any suggestions how to correct my problem..settings etc.?

I certainly hope that this isn't a "Devine cyper-sign" for me to stop buying more knives!:eek:

Thanks in advance,

Frank:cool:

My only problem with True North Knives' site is that their stock of great knives is much larger than my current budget.

Dave,
Yeah, sounds like the old familiar "Supply & Supply" problem...

They have a big supply of goods, while we have a small supply of funds!

I dunno. They're not using javascript ... I can't see any reason why it wouldn't open for you.... You might try reinstalling Explorer.

if you have ad-blocker (or anti-popup programs) running the true north knives website will not display correctly ... turn them off and it should work. it is a very nice site but this conflict is annoying

some other atlanta virtual sites can also be effected this way

Go to internet options & delete temp internet files, and do put a check in the "off line content" box that pops up.
And if you do not have a gazillion asswords & info stored on websites, delete your cookies, also. They can trash you out as bad as excessive temp files can.
Also in internet options, click on the "connections" tab and click on "lan settings" and make sure nothing is checked in there.
If that does not fix you, if you are running a firewall, uninstall it and see if everything works ok afterwards. If it dies, reinstall the firewall afterwards. (They get corrupted sometimes).
If you are using a router, you may need to reconfigure it. (Sometimes they suddenly need a firmware update as well).
If your a/v program has a webscan feature, try turning that off & see if the problem goes away.
Go to control panel - add/remove programs and select internet explorer and click on add/remove. Unless you are running an old version of internet explorer, you will see an oprion to "repair". Give that a try.
If none of the above fixes you, you probably do need to reinstall internet explorer.
Is that the *only* site that is giving you trouble?
It does display just fine for me using IE 6.

Frank, bandaid is right.I just renewed my norton and I'm encountering the same problem. If I disable my norton security it works fine.

Stumpy, you da man!
That was it! I had turned off my Norton Firewall and did a bunch of other things which didn't help, but I just took your suggestion and turned off my Norton anti-virus, and bingo...that did the trick.:D I was blind, and now I see!

Thanks a bunch!;)
