Pre Order Trusty Preorder: CPK Basic 5/FK3 Sheaths

I have a lefty that I'll sew up in the next little bit to give a better idea of where things are headed>>>

I have one last sheath to sew up and test before I get going on this batch of sheaths.
While I'll have about 28 in total, I'll likely work in smaller batches of 10 so that I can get some other outstanding projects completed

Howdy folks!

The time has come to start planning a new batch of sheaths, and this time it will be for the Basic 5/FK3.

I finished the prototype today. Unfortunately I ended up making a left handed sheath, but the right handed version will be pretty much the same- only in reverse.

This trusty preorder will close at 20 sheaths. It's unlikely that 20 or you will claim one, but I won't be making more than 20.

These sheaths will cost $175 plus $30 shipping. Payment via Paypal G&S invoicing. Your sheath will be mailed to you once complete, via Canada Post Expedited Parcel.

If you have a special request, ie; left handed, or dyed leather, please make note of that in your post. Dyeing your sheath will cost you an extra $15, but I won't charge you extra just because you're left handed. Life is already tough enough for you left handed folks.

All sheaths will be hot packed, and feature a removable belt loop, held together via 304 stainless steel Chicago screws. Additionally, the safety strap can also be removed from the belt loop independently if you choose.

The sheath will look similar, (not exactly the same) as the sheath pictured below;

Cheers, and thanks so much for taking an interest in my work!
:)
In... right handed.

Saw this and thought of the sheath pre order..
Any chance this would affect getting orders shipped ?
well, it depends on how long the strike lasts. There was a postal strike many years ago that lasted 42 days, so we'll see where things go. The issues are pretty substantial this time around so I doubt it will end quickly.

All that said; I've been in the process of completely reorganizing my shop so many projects have been pushed back and I'm way behind where I was planning to be. And for this sheath build in particular, I have about 10 sheaths cut out and a big chunk of leather which had to go in the garbage due to a laser malfunction. I've ordered another side of leather, which will be showing up in a few days so hopefully I can get the rest of my sheaths cut out and ready to build before the end of December.

Any progress on these Lorien ? No rush just checking in
I'm getting close...again! lol
I have a half dozen or so cut and ready to go, but I've been waiting on a bunch more getting cut before I get started. I think I'll glue up the ones that I have ready over the next few days and get started stitching them up. I really wanted to have all of them on the go at once.

One cool thing that I didn't plan for was that my laser guy engraved an aluminum CPK logo die which I can press into the leather as opposed to burning it in. I'll drop him a line today and see where he's at- I'd really like to get this project squared away before spring.

I would take a lefty if I'm not too late.
you're not too late- I'll see what I can do👍

Looks like I only got 6 for now. My laser guy is a little under the weather, but when he's back in action I should have another dozen or so. Maybe more if there's strong demand

I'll work through these for now
