Has the time been pushed up this round? I thought the last 2 times it was 2 pacific? But I could be wrong
 
All gone in exactly 10 minutes. Looked like there were about 98 each (not sure about the blue bone). Green Burlap seemed to go first, but who can tell in all the frenzy.
 
Well that sure was fast! I grabbed both versions of the burlap. Went back 2mins later thinking about a black micarta and it was too late :)
 
I managed to grab a Black micarta. I was ready and logged in at 3:56pm and the site locked up from 4:00 to 4:03. At least on my iPhone 6. It took me from 4:03 to 4:05 to get in my cart and then checkout. I’m excited! I’m happy for any members that grabbed one or a few.

Their are three already up on the big auction site ranging from 160 to 395 in price.

I figured the green would be the hit, that’s why I went for the black. I just wanted to get one. I hope I like the pattern. This will be my first 35.

I am a big fan of the 35 frame. However, I am of the mindset that equal enders like the 35 do not lend themselves well to being single bladed jacks. That is, of course, simply my opinion and perception, so take that with as much salt as you dare.

I was thinking the same as I watch them all disappear in less than 7 minutes. I did get a green micarta that “cashed out” via Apple Pay. 4 blue camel bones loaded to my cart but were gone when I pushed pay:(

It looks to me like more of a drastic reduction in supply to create demand but I could be wrong. Less than 100 may be normal. I’m new to this. But in 2017 I did manage to get at least one of every new release. 3 of the Lincoln’s, one of every other. This one was the hardest to get but did manage a green burlap. So I can’t complain. I don’t buy them to sell on secondary market. But I did sell one of my Lincoln’s (denim) keeping camel and mammoth
 
I still have my two Lincoln's also. Makes me wonder how many are bought by people that appreciate Northwood/GEC vs. the ebay flippers. In any case I'm excited about this release. The rustic blade design looks amazing!
 
Definitely shocked at how fast these went after the last sale I swear it took almost an hour.

Manage to snag my first pick-green burlap.

I think future runs should be one Knife per buyer.

Screw the flippers.
 
If there were 98 total units available, I think we can say a significant portion of those are sold to just the posters on this thread. There's certainly a lot of hype surrounding Northwoods. But I don't think theres a huge speculation problem. I'd bet most of these knives are going to collectors.

Edit: Oh I see the guess was 98 of each version...so 500 or so moved in 15 minutes? That's fast!

Just checked and they are all gone! Sucks cuz I wanted green burlap and couldnt order at work
 
I was just laughing to my self. There used to be a time when Derrick would post a nice little video introduction of each new Northwood's release. Hasn't needed to worry about that for a while now since they sell out in less than 10 minutes.

I tried for 10 minutes right at 4pm 1pm my time and every time it went in my cart to check out it said gone.
Gave up wasn’t worth it to me lol . There nice but .....
