trying to decide on a nw edc

What about the Benchmade 530. The blade has a very slim profile and it is a great slicer. You can find it for about $60 and you get the axis lock too!

thanks stockman....sounds like the calypso is a great knife.....ryan

i'm not up on my benchmade's....i'll check that model out....ryan:thumbup:

You should definitely check out the SCORPIUS. Sounds like it will be the perfect fit for what you are looking for.

I picked one up here recently and it is awesome. The plain edge one gets my vote.

Expect to pay $60 for one.... maybe less.

i got a zdp calypso jr. for now to tide me over....ryan

love that u2...if it had a thumbstud and clip i would hav like 4 of them right now!.....maybe one day they'll make another model like it....ryan

The Calypso Junior is a nice little knife.

You might want to consider the Centofante collaboration (3 or 4, I personally like the Wharncliffe version), as well as the Delica---which, if you search the forums, is obviously a classic. Good luck! If you buy a Spyderco, you can't have made a wrong choice.

God bless.

KATN,

Wade

well we'll see how i like the calypso...i had the delica zdp but found it too much steel to thin out...was just a little too thick for me....ryan
