Trying to decide, Ti/G10 Military or 710 in M390

The M4 Military that I am looking at is a G10 slab with a Ti R.I.L. frame lock on the other side.

My bad. Thought you were talking about the bhq M4. That Military model you are thinking about was a spring run a few years ago, right? If so, it is perhaps even harder to get (than 710-1401).

I am not entirely sure about the date/location of origin. I didn't follow the Militaries all that closely, since I basically wrote it off due to the tip down only. The clip up front throws the ergos off for me, so I didn't bother.

Now, due to this thread, I see a way to carry tip up, and if that doesn't work for me, I decided to make a pocket slip, and ditch the factory clip.

I have a G-10/Ti M4 Military. I believe it was a Knifeworks sprint run in 2010. I got a good amount of use out it and had Tom Krein regains it to about .006-.007” begins the edge to make it a tremendous slicer. If you like M4 and the Military this is a good one to get.

My personal pick between the 2 would be the Millie M4/g10/cf. Every 710 I've had developed up/down play once the axis lock go broken in. I can't stand blade play and I've never had any in my Millies. M4 is one my favorite steels as well!
