I just completed a transaction with TSlater that reinforces not only the quality and character of many of the people here, but also how important it is to have built a good reputation online.
Travis had a knife I wanted as a gift for a good friend. We talked back and forth and finally arrived at terms. Then Travis agreed to ship the knife BEFORE I paid him! The knife arrived in PERFECT condition and wrapped to protect it from nuclear holocaust. He also covered priority shipping, insurance and signature confirmation.
These kinds of experiences make dealing on the web a breeze. It should be noted though that my rep and post count here made it easier for Travis to trust me. It is imperative that we all conduct ourselves with class and integrity in EVERY dealing...ESPECIALLY online where all we have is our posts and our transactions.
