Your work reminds me of HR Giger.

Impressive.

With all these new KZs floating around, I want to see some carnage!!

Bring on the choppage!

Just noticed your post, brother...sorry!

Thickness (at ricasso)= .27"
Overall Length= 18-5/8"
Blade Length (tip to handle)= 11-7/8"
Actual (sharpened) Edge Length= 11-3/4"

:)

Thanks for the update! I've been in love with this things since I first saw it. But gee, I don't know now. It's oh so close to a foot, yet didn't quite make it. Should I let that deter me?

I picked mine up from the post office today and took a picture along with a couple other Blade scores, a B-11 and a Dog Father (I have several, but had traded one recently, and you can never have too many Dog Fathers). While not in line with the Blade theme, I also threw in a FFFBM for scale. The KZ2 may be scaled back from the TT-version, but is still a big heavy knife. However, the handle is quite comfortable and it feels comparable in weight to other heavy-duty working khuks. KZ2s are NM-finished and were Blade show priced at about what the CG NMFBM was released at ($497 vs $467), but they're bigger and heavier than a NMFBM. It's a keeper and I could see it being a future "grail knife" for those who miss them!

sounds like the BWMs are on the way out then.

They were also VERY good knives. I didn't expect to buy any BWMs, but finally decided they were worth buying three of -- more as an investment and because I was hearing good things about them over on the Scrap Yard forum than because I thought I'd really like them. When they arrived, I liked them so well that I ordered three more. Then, I ended up buying three more when Competition Finish BWMs were released. So, I went from, "I don't know if I want any." to buying nine -- that's how well I like the BWM.
