As an experiment, I tried routing south over land instead. The distance from me to Seattle and Olympia is about the same but the paths are quite different.
It's even slower. I should have known better than to try to take a shortcut through Mason County. No wonder it takes me so damned long to upload stuff.
How do you guys do that?!?!?!? Put the pic of your test up I mean....
I'm just thankful and lucky to be online, ISP was offline all day yesterday and every late afternoon/evening for the last solid week!!!!!:thumbdn: :grumpy:
If the problem lasts over the coming weekend I'm going to see what Cox Cable will cost me. AT&T said it would take about 10 days to get me switched over to a RT and I think it's happening because my speed showing on my connection tab now says 1.0 Mbps which I'm told is supposed to be faster than the 400.0 Mbps I had and am on right now.
My DL is showing 327 and my UL is showing 276 with a 127 ms Ping...
Edutsi - There are 3 buttons that show at the end of the test. One says "Forum Link" and has a copy button. Click on the Copy button and then when you come here, use the inser hyperlink function (the globe with the chain links) to insert it.
I did the Chicago server tonight instead of Cinci...a little bit faster.
