"Tweener" & Big Bro WIP

let me know if I can be of service Ryan:D

Haha I have seen what you do to my little knives! Come down to OKCA and I might just let you take it home ;)

As I stated earlier, I have the knife pretty much finished up and am working on the sheath. I snapped a few photos to keep people interested.

AND I wasn't going to share this photo cause it is just nasty! Time to clean my hands up, a combination of Leather dye, dirt and lack of manicure. :o

damn- that looks awesome! I'd love to take er for a rip, but I think you should sell it she'll go quick!
Man, it would be worth the trip just to meet you in person bro! That will be arranged another time for sure, but I gotta save me sheckles for Seattle in April. Mayhaps I'll plan for OKCA next year.
Being self employed, it's very difficult to arrange more than one day off in a row- or more than one day off per week! Leaves me with a couple or three weekends per year. But ya neva know! When is it again?

I understand Lorien, no problem! it is the weekend of April 14th, we are headed to Mike Turners to get schooled in some forging afterwards.

Wow!
I'm pretty sure that you could sell that as well

I know that if I had the money I'd buy both knives in a heart beat

Thanks Roger!

Lorien you are going to be upset with me... The grind had a dip in it and it was bugging me to no end, I think this piece of O1 wanted to be a ReCurve. I will get new photos up later today with the new profile, since I am keeping it sharpening a recurve won't be an issue for the owner. I have a LARGE billet of Wrough Iron / CruV SanMai from Mike Turner headed my way. I will be making another one of these to have at the show. No recurve on that one Lorien!

Haha Roger that makes me feel better, knife making seems to be full of finding ways to fix mistakes. sometimes it works, and sometimes not so much. I like how this turned out!

Missed your comment earlier. Thanks, but I think this one is going to get some use by yours truly!

I can relate to that Ryan!

I really like it with the recurve as well, and I think it turned out great. I also think the sheath design is nifty.

Nice pair!

I noticed in the gallery earlier, the change you speak of.
In agreement with Roger and others in that it looks just fine. It's likely more marketable as well. The 'reverse belly' design is pretty hawt these daze!
Sheath too, as has been stated.
Greatly looking forward to the next iteration. What's not to love about laminated steel, and wrought, no less!

I like the large camp chopper. It looks amazing with the recurve, but I love the smaller camp bowie. Besides the Minister I think this may be my favorite one you have made thus far.

Thanks everyone for the comments, I have had some fun cleaning up the yard when I have a spare moment. I need to get it in the mountains.

Shawn, "The Minister" is a Beast made to take down trees! I can only find one photo of our mind meld, I am working on the little buddy for you!

I'm sending a few pics of how it looks now. My photography is nowhere close to as good as yours. I'm sure the little buddy will look great. I've yet to see a knife that you made that didn't look fantastic.
