If you get an opportunity to thank a veteran today please do so.

Thanks Jeremy, Jason and hipboots and anyone else here on the forum I have missed.

Good morning and Happy Veterans day.:)
I am home today (Swine Flu?,,,,Don't know, feel like a truck hit me) missing out on Boston traffic but also missing prevailing wage (almost $60 P.H.)!:thumbdn::mad:

Today is also a reminder to send care packages to our troops. I just sent a big one with lots of magazines, Frisbees, sunscreen, etc.

Evenin' gents,,,

First off,,, THANKS TO ALL BRAVE MEN AND WOMAN WHO HAVE FOUGHT FOR MY AND OTHER PEOPLE'S FREEDOM IN THE PAST AND PRESENT,,,

Jeremy,,, you can call that G11 knife a lot of things,,, but Trainer !?!

Blake, have you decided on a CCW yet ?

Gonna make some calls tomorrow to see how far along my permit is for a new .45ACP pistol,,, it's been long enough !

I'm 99% sure I'm gonna go with the new full-size HK45 unless someone here convinces me otherwise,,, (allready have the full-size HK USP 9mm, so I'm familiar with the reliability of H&K)

ps: a lot of nice (cheaper) alternatives e.g. Springfield XD, FNP-45, etc are simply not available to the European market it seems,,, and to think FN is a Belgian owned corporation :(

you cant go wrong with H&K. my usp tactical .45 is by far the best shooting hand gun i've ever fired. i shot an 8" 10 shot group at 50 yrds with it prone the first time i took it out. the only reason i'm not currently carrying it is because I couldn't find a holster for it(the tall sights and threaded barrel). my only other complaint is parts are expensive.

I dont carry chibbs. Don't know that I could even get a ccw in Dallas county. I'm not sure who it was lookin for the ccw, I preffer long guns( there's no good way to word that statement).
