I'm 99% sure I'm gonna go with the new full-size HK45 unless someone here convinces me otherwise,,, (allready have the full-size HK USP 9mm, so I'm familiar with the reliability of H&K)

ps: a lot of nice (cheaper) alternatives e.g. Springfield XD, FNP-45, etc are simply not available to the European market it seems,,, and to think FN is a Belgian owned corporation :(

Don't think you can go wrong there Chibbi - good choice

I have new and older HK's in 9mm and 45 and like them all - but there is just something about a 1911 ;):thumbup:

I agree while I like my Glocks / Sigs / H&K I always come back to my 1911s.
 
guys,whats the difference between a small sebenza and a
small classic or 21 ?
there is a small one on the board i might try and get
 
Only real good 1911's overhere are probably Kimber, but they cost an arm and a leg,,,

Fug, there's very little real difference between them, I think,,, the older Small Sebenza's could be using BG42 (or even ATS34 if I'm not mistaken) and the new models use S30V steel for the blade,,, there's also a small difference in the cut-out of the handle slab where you disengage the lock,,,

Can't go wrong with either model imho,,,
 
I say I get to name the new one... it would even more heroine sheik than "12". I promise.

I didn't know you were a vet Jeremy. I was in the Army years ago (1976-1980). It's a whole different ball game these day. I want to thank all the young men, young women and vets who put it on the line everyday so we can have our freedom. Lets pray that eveyone comes home safe.

Menz, I bought a couple of Frontier Filter Pros for our backpacks (mine and momma's).

This means I'll be able to drink directly from the Horton Compound Lagoon soon.
