Twig Mangler!

That is beautiful, John!!

I am seeing it for the first time just now - although John and I have been discussing it since early in fall.

Again, John has nailed exactly what I was looking for, a "Swedish" style outdoors knife for mangling twigs and such.

It's a beauty Mr. K!!!!! Thank you for your patience, helping me get the details hammered out.

Great job on the hammer plate too - that looks great!

I had an idea what I wanted, and John took it from there, and did an outstanding job!!

I am very excited to get this one and do some twig-mangling!

Nice looking piece!

How tall is the bevel?

Wow!! This knife just took things to the next level John. Very nice collaboration with Andy. Expecting this guy to get a lot of attention.

I certainly didn't expect this; what a suprise. I was taken by a few details immediately: 1) the 2-tone micarta is eye-catching and well done; 2) the pin pattern is accentuated by the aforementioned 2-tone micarta; 3) the Scandinavian influence of the shape (as seen in picture 3) looks great. It wasn't till later (3rd or 4th viewing of the photos) that I even noticed the steel butt.

Great Job!

Without going out and measuring it I will guess around 5/16.

Nice, so it is sitting around 15dps. Should be a rather nice handling knife.

I am liking that you are pushing your knife making. I am eager to see what the future of the line holds.

Have you thought of trying some woods?
