'''The "More Power Puller" has been manufactured by The Wyeth-Scott Company since 1934. It has been the safest and most durable cable puller ever made. This heavy-duty industrial portable ratchet puller/hoist is not the type of light-weight puller found at most home centers or discount stores - it has been designed and proven to perform in a variety of demanding environments without bending, breaking or collapsing. Couple that with Samson Rope's Amsteel Blue and you have power, strength and safety. Amsteel Blue is an amazing synthetic rope that is stronger than cable, but so light that it floats. This is not your typical poly rope - it is constructed of a 12-strand, single-braid, 100% Dyneema SK-75 fiber with Samthane coating. The average strength of 5/16" Amsteel Blue is 13,700 lbs.! In use on this Ratchet puller it is resistant to permanent smashing yet whiplash-free. (does not store energy, cannot whiplash if broken). On top of all that it is easy on your hands - it has no wire wickers. If you are in the market for a new ratchet puller that is lighter than conventional cable pullers and safer look no further. Double line pulling capacity is 6,000 pounds dead lift and 12,000 drag/pull. Single rope capacity is 3,000 lbs dead lift and 6,000 drag/pull.Replacement handle is also available - WS P73EXT. '''

12,000 lbs of drag pull 17 feet at a time. i win :D i can drag that t-rex home... 6000 lbs dead lift :D certainly be helpful in stump pulling. hell, i think this is stronger than some of my mega-straps

or if one forgoes strength for length... 6000 lbs drag, but over 35 feet! noice... doubt i'll ever need to dead lift 3000 lbs up 35 feet... but now i can...

pretty cool...

course, a little bird tells me that once i have a tractor and 50 feet of chain, i won't bother with winches... but NHlandia rarely has 50 feet straight runs. until i tidy the land.

can't wait for someone to get stuck :D

thanks, I needed that.

I don't remember the last time I laughed that hard.

GSOM, you can never have too many Moras eh? That inspired me to go ahead and grab that electricians Mora off my wish list on Amazyawn. Got a right good pile of THHN ready for scrapping now that its warmin up. Got a pretty good score on a demo job today too. BLADE funds lol.

Grab yerself one o' the LMF versions if you can find one cheap. Even at $30, it's a hell of a knife with the firesteel built in. Started a LOT of fires in the fire pit with mine. Plus they're great for the young 'uns. Nice, but not so expensive you'll freak if they do something dumb with them.....unless it involves cutting themselves, in which case they could turn out to be really expensive. You know what I mean.

Man, moras are so razor sharp I don't think I'd want my daughter using one haha. My last mora I burned the tip off and burned a chunk off the blade, stripping wire in a panel and it caught the copper because its so sharp, took a chunk of the copper off and when it let loose I stabbed the back of the panel and nicked a hot wire and popped the 2 spots lol. It was at a friends house so no biggie, that was the first and last time I use a knife that size in a panel. We actually had a few installing his hot tub. I forgot about the electricians one until I saw you in the exchange and it dinged in my brain. The 14 has seen minimal in hot locations but its terrific for romex. Staged shot...

Gus congrats man!!! Sounds like a great place to be moving. Away from ANY downtown is a plus as far as im concerned!!

Random thoughts:
The other day I was introduced to a selfie pole.................[facepalm]
Also the other day I realized after 7 years in the military and many more being broke as a joke; I have never tried SPAM.
I made a fried SPAM and tomato sammich. Pretty good. That sodium though!

SPAMMITYYYY SPAAAAAAMMMM!!

Side note: I got an email from one of the companies I really like SKD Tactical. Apparently they now sell a tactical "bag-o-d!@ks". You would have to add your own glitter though. The warnings on the bag made me chuckle a bit as well.

I didn't much care for SPAM until this past summer. After visiting the SPAM museum, I have come to like it as a portable food. The spam singles (lite) are the ones I take in my backpack, as a standby, when I leave the house. Some of the other flavors are tasty too. I just had the teryaki flavored for lunch. It's not too bad, still prefer the original flavor over all the others though.

In other entertainment:

Has anyone been able to watch any of the Daredevil reboot on Netflix?

I'm on Episode 6. Its not a bad series, however, I found I am not really watching it, using it more for background noise while I peruse BF. LOL

A loaner no more.
