My dad, who is now 75 still only carries a Buck 110 when he goes out hunting. That's the reason why I fell in love with Buck knives as a little boy out on my first hunt. We used that Buck to field dress my very first Impala.
I wish I still had the buck 110 my father used to carry every day, it got misplaced somewhere somehow after a big break up and move. I learned how to sharpen a knife watching him use a wet stone and spit to refresh the edge frequently. Also, that knife was the first knife I ever cut myself with.
I'm in.
One of the childhood memories that I have of my Step Father is of him teaching me how to lube the joints and "work" ( wear in ) of a Buck 110 and how to flick it open with one hand. Aahhh good times
