Me and the wife was talking with a lady she works with and she was saying she wanted kids.... and i made the comment kids are a**holes... She says well thats not very nice to say as a father... I said any parent in the world that hasnt thought at one point or another their kids were a**holes just hasnt been around them long enough ;)

BAhahahaha! Its so true! This made me laugh this morning. And I do agree with Todd. They definitely must get it from me ;) snark.

I finished making a work bench in the garage, now I need to organize. After I'm done I want to make a grinder :) I have a 5hp electric motor to play with.

Hope you guys aren't ever around my kids. Geez

Well said, Todd. I completely agree.....As the stay at home parent of a 6,5 and 2 year old sometimes I just look at a wall and think how comforting it would be just to run at full speed and put my head through it:D......but it is my hope that they never become a-holes......because if they do, I have failed.

there is a guy on FB selling a vise for 40 bucks... He's here in my town but I bet shipping would cost an arm and a leg...

Tomato potato...

Underdeveloped, aggravating, making your want to run full speed head first into a wall, grief causing, annoying at times, illogical..

I love my kids more than anything in the world but they are lots of work and sometimes they do things that make no sense at all...

A hole might be too hard a word for some people but I mean it as a joke... Not that I don't love them or think the same of them as I do the a holes standing on the corners...

Thats a hell of a vise for 40 bucks. To bad you couldnt ship it for that. Where is the guy at?

The first knife I made was a 10'' chopper out of s30v. It took a loooooooooooong time on that 1x30. It's still not pretty but it cuts.

Just spent the last few hours on my hands and knees weeding the garden in front of my house. It needed it badly. It was very neglected since my shoulder injury. It felt really good to get out there and work hard. There is no other feeling like the satisfaction you get after working with your hands. Whether it's gardening, building, knifemaking or cleaning, it's good for the soul. I can't believe how many bugs I encountered. I could focus my view on a 1ft square and count hundreds of bugs......tons of spiders. Unfortunately no Beckers were needed, but I have more yard work to do......

This..

I love my kids and it is a joke. I have gotten numerous compliments on how well behaved they are (in public). I am incredibly blessed with amazing children. They are intelligent and sometimes it gets them into trouble. As a young parent sometimes I can compare their behavior to something an a hole would do, but like Todd mentioned its just them not knowing any better and its my job to guide them.

What dad wouldn't be proud that his 4 year old has a 5 inch grouping at 20 yards with his .22 ;)

Hey ww, what do you need the vise for? I once hand filed a knife with a 1x4 screwed to a table and a C-clamp holding the knife down.

Same way I modified my Machax.

I wish my wife was a shooter. I've given her the basics because there are firearms in the house, but she ain't interested in practicing with me :(

I feel yah... My wife grew up around guns and stuff but is far from an enthusiast. Essentially she doesnt find any enjoyment from going out and shooting which is fine, but as far as safety goes I wanted her to understand the firearms in the house and be able to safely use/handle them. SO I finally convinced her to go shooting with me. I set up some targets, demonstrated the gun, and then let her have a crack at it. Withing seconds she pointed down range and in a rapid succession rattled off ten rounds and hit every target she aimed at  Then she looks at me and says "Ok I'm done" smiles, and walks off. LOL! Thats my wife though, if she wants to do anything she will do it, do it well, and there is no stopping her.
