Two For Tuesday

Here are my twin boys. Hiking Buddy 3/32 CPM154 sporting a beauty mark an a Runt in 1/8 A2. I want to say thank you very, very much Andy!!! I would of never thought this HB could or would of been the GRAIL knife that Ive been looking for. When I opened it up it hit me like a ton of bricks WOW!!! All I can say is WOW you hit this one to the moon BRO. The Oreo Burlap has so much detail an is really grippy. For me that means a lot as I live and work on the water saltwater that is all day. The CPM will make my boss happy as I won't have the stop as much to whip it down . Im sure you have heard this more then once but Ill tell you it again. You are a very, very talented craftsmen an artist Andy. Also a big thank you to Phillip. Chuck

I really like the handle config. That hiking buddy is awesome!!

Hey Onedog, is that Bushcrafter lacewood or leopardwood? That's a striking and awesome handle.

Hey Dogbone. Thanks man. :D It's actually an Arete. :) The handle is Leopardwood. The taper on it is quite awesome as well. Super comfortable handle.

Hey Chuck,

I know that you have been on a long running search for the perfect thin stainless Hiking Buddy. I am happy for you that your patience and persistence finally paid off. That is a very good looking knife and getting the matching Runt too makes for a sweet package.

Congratulations!

Phil

Thanks a lot Phil. If it wouldn't have been for Phillip an Andy Id still be on the hunt. (THANKS AGAIN GUYS) It has been a long an hard hunt for a few years thats for sure. Im kinda bummed because now on to my next GRAIL hunt the elusive Runt in CPM. This one is going to be even harder to come across. I really haven't seen to many of them floating around here. Maybe Ill have to pick up a Palmer to hold me over for the time being. Does anyone have a side by side of a Runt and the large and small Palmer? Chuck
