Two good, ten blems, used one and bargain for 11/19

I gotta put a flag on that Cull fella, got me again he did!

Here I was focusing on evening and dropped my guard for a few seconds and bam!!!!

I love this place. I love you Cul...not in any mano mano way ya understand.

I have to give kudo's to the Yangdu Special Katunje too. Awesome little knife, just feels rock solid in hand. Far more capable than its small size would indicate.

You won't be disappointed.

You blink, and I'll swoop in...:)

Love you too Mr. B., but no love in sharking, right?

Thanks Karda.

I have been researching kuhkuri's. I'm glad I found this forum. It refreshing in this day and age to find a company like HI that truly cares about her customers and the people that make these kuhkuri's. I'm Glad to support a company that has a loyal and passionate following. I haven't even received my first kuhkuri in the mail yet. But I have no doubt that I will be extremely pleased.

Youre welcome, David.
I also think I forgot to previously welcome you here, if I'm not mistaken....Welcome to the HI forum!
Your sentiments echo what many of us feel. The business and humanitarian ethics/efforts of Himalayan Imports are truly beautiful and treasured things, and are quite rare in this day and age.

just want to luck into a good chopper....lately all the DoTD posts have been made like, an hour too early in the day, everything is gone by time I get to a computer.....

If you see something you like but are too late, send Yangdu and email inquiring if she has another. She often, but not always does.

email sent, asked about 3 different blades, would take 1 of each if available or if not all 3 I'd be happy with any of them and them keep trying my luck at the DoTD lottery!

Thanks to you both for the alternate method of going about it.....

Now to pray for good luck!

To himimp@aol.com ? I've never been lucky enough to get in at the right time....is that who I'd contact just as though I were making a purchase?

Just a reminder. The blems usually just have one, but any of the regular priced DOTDs, auntie may have some spares.

For instance, the ones today that she may have extras of are:

26.5 inch 28 ounce Wajaski Sword by Kumar. Satisal wood handle. Bargain at $200 even.

15 inch 29 ounce M-43 by Kumar. White metal fittings. Horn handle. Awesome rig at $139.

All the others are specially priced as blem one-offs.

True but she may also have more blem one-offs. Or not.

Hmmm...never thought about that, I better remember that one for future reference!

Now you done it. This shark has a new bag of tricks up the other fin...:D

THANKS GUYS!

Just sent payment for...

18 inch WWII horn handle

20 inch sirupati

18 inch m-43 slight shrinkage of wood around the pins

=o)

Merry Christmas to ME!

I missed it again!!! Lol this is some serious competition we got here... I'm assuming we can't bagsy? :P

EMS on KLVUK.

Now I just need someone to tell me what that stands for, and how ten minutes of my time can fix the handle...

You can bagsy all you want. :D
Until the email is sent and the item is paid for, it's fair game. First come first served.

Keshar Lal Villager Utility Khukuri.
It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to file the edges of the buttcap back to match the handle. Easy.
