Two is better than one! Knife pairs!

I just realized that I have a thing for pairs.... not duplicates, but kind of matching pairs. I really like a single blade for every day tasks, but I don't always like to use an expensive folder to scrape wires or scribe metal... So i started carrying a "who cares" blade with me and really like the system. It's better for me than carrying a two or three blade knife. So, is it silly?? I know of a few guys here who carry two or three every day. Wanted to share my "buddy carry" knives.

So, lets see your "matching" pairs. Sorry for the crummy pics..

John Lloyd with a lil buck 379.

 Nice pairing

My #06 Pemberton is always in the watch pocket of my jeans... The #55 in right front pocket. Sort of a matching pair in Autumn Gold bone.

Very nice guys! Awesome 85's burnside! Arizonaranchman, that is a fantastic pairing. I've been on the fence with buying a pemberton for a while. I've heard nothing but good things.

I carry that same nut, great knife and Uncle Sam legal.

I usually carry my Charlow and Tribal Spear. Not low end but the Charlow is a little bit down on the knife scale from the TS. I've taken the 73 along sometimes but it's usually the Charlow and Tribal Spear.

Lightweight wilderness hunting set, will get even an elk to the carry out stage.

I really LOVE my Pemberton, it's a wonderfully small knife and the F&f is excellent. Fits perfectly in the watch pocket. It's a great "#2" combined with another folder as a pair. Gosh it's a great solo knife for that matter.

The concept of dual EDC is very appealing to me. I like a strong folder with a versatile blade (clip, drop or spear, 3" to 4") in the right pocket and a small folder with one or two preferably specialized blades (wharncliffe and/or spey are favorites) in the left pocket. This here is today's EDC combo. Just two knives I like a lot and paired because I can't get tired of them.

Gev, being unemployed, I stay home quite a bit, and just wear cutoff sweatpants for comfort.
The SW resides permanently in the pocket (except on wash day!), so I carry it practically all the time.
The thin blades are a complete joy to cut with!
