  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Two is better than one! Knife pairs!

Thanks for the kind comments, guys. I had a lot of fun.

What's that one under the fixed blade and two folders over to the right?

A Spyderco Salt with laser attachment. (Don't tell Frank.)

(Kidding.)

Wow Sarah, suddenly I don't feel so self conscious about my "ahem" accumulation :)

I live to serve.

Awesome picture, whats that fixed blade with the green handle?
Looks like a Blind Horse Knives Frontier First with green canvas micarta scales. Pure coincidence, I was looking at them online today and nearly bought one. They any good Pertinux?

Yes, that's what it is -- BHK Frontier First Patch Knife in O1, Full Flat Grind-- and it's so good it'll curl your beard. Actually, I haven't been able to bring myself to flat-out use it yet, so take the previous statement with a grain of salt. The micarta handle feels rock-solid (emphasis on "rock"), but has already scuffed some in the sheath (as you can see above at the left) so maybe it's not that hard. Its lines and balance are wonderful for a knife of this size, its grind and edge are superb, and I consider it a bargain at its price-- quality leather to boot.

More pictures here, here, and one more right here to show how small it really is:

My knees may say stay off the mountain but I can still carry the elk with me.....300

Buck 340 and 309 in elk horn.

Oh, I like this sentiment, and accompanying cutlery, very much. Thank you.
