Important Info! Two new (Beta) themes if you don't like the default forums layout

There've been a few common complaints about how the new forums layout looks - so I'm pushing out a couple styles that will help alleviate issues, Flat Awesome + (FA+) and Flat Awesome + Dark (FA+ Dark).

Both of these are in beta right now, and are being edited as I have time, so expect to see some placeholder links or icons that don't fully work; I figured it was more important to have some soothing colors and less scrolling.

You can select an alternate style by either:

1, Scroll to the bottom left of any page and click "Default Style" - an overlay will come up showing available styles, click on the one you like.
2, Click on your Username at the top right, and select "Preferences" and change it there.

for those wanting to change the theme, hover over your name in the top right and select preferences. at the top of the preferences popup you can choose the theme from the combo box.

I had no particular complaint about the default, but I do prefer the Tahoma font face in this style.

I switched to the dark version after logging in. Perhaps it should be made the default setting given how popular it is. Its going to take some time to get used to the changes, but overall it should be a better site.
 
The FA Dark is pretty good. And I don't know if it's related but the subform lists are now condensed lnto smaller sections like the past site vs. the launch here when you had to scroll the whole list.
 
'FA+ Dark' is looking pretty good to me. I'm liking it.

Only thing, if/when posting a new thread, and choosing the thread type (change username, question, complaint, etc), the darkish grey text on dark background for that is somewhat hard to read. If the text color there is tweakable to a slightly lighter color (white, lighter grey), the FA+ Dark theme would look even greater.

FLAT AWESOME gets my vote. Reading white print on black pages is an eye strain to me but the FLAT AWESOME is in fact - AWESOME. Really enhances the exchange images and appears to me most user friendly - not unlike the old BF.

PS - Could use a thumbs up/down emoticon. Saves a lot of typing and hyperbole. :)
 
Flat Awesome + (BETA) is my goto theme. Dark is nice but i like the non dark version way better.
 
Testing out the new styles. For what its worth, the DARK feels more familiar. I also had no complaints using the DEFAULT.
 
Spark, thanks for taking care of all us whiney guys. I like the minimalistic (not dark) layout a bunch.
 
I think I prefer the dark style and I bet it saves a lot of money too. However, it would be really nice if you made all of the fonts Times New Roman or something like that. Or could everything be changed to the same scheme it was before? I didn't have any problems with it then.
