I don't have one coming because I'm in the middle of trying to buy my first house so my knife budget is pretty much zero dollars right now unfortunately. They look great though and I'd love to own one!

I'm in for the twofer, I've been checking out the beer scout but it's just not in the finances. Being on a fixed income is hard enough but being a fixed income with all the doctors and pharmacy trips even though I'm lucky enough to have insurance it all cost money to do all the driving back and forth. I won't bore you with the specifics suffice it to say the beer scout is not in my future unless through the generosity of another.

I don't have a beer scout for the same reason I don't have any GECs; just can't afford it.
I can get so much other stuff (like food) and can't justify the price vs feeding the family.

Thanks for the generosity - I'm also in for the twofer, with the same sad story as most everyone else here; just not enough dang money! I'll take number 789, because my wife has a horribly bad taste for puns.
 
I don't have a Beer Scout because my 6 year old daughter opened the mail and announced "Daddy why does it say beer on it ? " then my Southern Baptist wife proceeded to give me the thumping about it. So I thought about and said well I see her point and beer+scout maybe not appropriate. After reading the posts and seeing some other with that sentiment I engaged that exact conversation which turned out to highly controversial especially when I referred to GEC fans as fanboys. Ultimately looking foolish here on the forum and still be thumped on my wife over buying a $100 knife with beer stamped on it, i conceded and sold it. My wife then since used the money in our PayPal account to buy shoes. So now am a broke, knifeless, foolish man and truth be told I love that new beer scout pattern so much I don't care if it said hello kitty scout on it with pink scales I would carry it. Offer her a can of Root Beer next time you are on the town. If she takes a sip, scream "hypocrite"; jerk her shoes off; and buy yourself a Soda Scout!!
 
I am in the sad camp. These are the reasons I don't have one. Not such a sad reason though. :)

Not a matter of money. I buy very few knives, and I'm about to put a couple for sale :p
Not because many US dealers aren't willing to ship internationally...I have friends overseas who are willing to help me on it :)
Not because I don't like the pattern, or size. I used to have a GEC #15 and it's a nice frame. Sheepsfoot blade? My most carried slipjoint has a sheepsfoot main. Caplifter? Not much use for it but such tool (just like a punch) tends to come in handy for alternative tasks. Bail? Not a fan of it, but I could easily remove it ;) Handle material? As long as a knife is available in wood, micarta, or any other smooth material, it works for me.
Jury is still out.
