Hey Huntsman Knife Co. LLC. (Hunter) - I hope the Friday is treating you well.

Now that we've rolled into May, wanted to see if there has been any progress in the scale options/sheath options? Also, I'm wondering how close we might be to needing to submit final payment for these knives, just want to make sure buying some other knives doesn't drain my knife budget.

Not yet! I was hoping to have more progress made on the scales and options by now but we need to get the blades done first and get the exact finished dimensions before we can run the scales. If the blanks end up even a few thou over or under, fitup will be much harder so I'm playing it safe.

I'm going to go ahead and throw in a free house made Kydex sheath for everyone who pre-ordered a Waki and I'm going to see if I can get a saya option as well!

As for timing, I'd expect the Wakis to ship in July and the Katanas in December. We might be able to get the Katanas done sooner if the Waki goes smoothly. I want both for myself ASAP!
