Hop over to the link below, take a look and read the specs.

http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum53/HTML/000791.html

The khukuris look identical. The difference in the Sanu made is it's marked by Sanu, the fit is perfect rather than .010, the weight is one ounce lighter and the execution is flawless. The Sanu version has a 125 year HI superfrog rather than a 75 year. All else is the same.

This khukuri if you could find one this good anywhere would cost $300 -- maybe more.

Uncle Bill's Deal of the Day price is $125 delivered to your door.

Another winning hand from Reno. Call or email if interested.

James, to tell you the truth I didn't even know I had this twin until this afternoon. It was at the bottom of a box in the HI warehouse covered with newspapers.

For consolation, these are twins, and few people would be able to tell them apart. You got a very good deal but maybe if you ask Mei-chan she will sell this knive to you for $300.

Hmmmm...

No no, cant do that, must not, wait, that would look great in a pair, on a nice belt..

Aaah!

J

James, this pair is as near matching as the pair of BAS posted by James Mattis. Major difference is the kami mark. The guys who do the two blades martial arts forms would give $800 for this pair -- that I didn't even know I had. Maybe you can make the deal. Mei-chan is a very sweet person.

James, if you want to buy this one instead I have already sent payment but if Oji-chan will give me credit instead I will relinquish my claim & you can buy it for the set... let me know if you guys want to do this.

Too late. Uncle Bill like a clumsy ox dropped this knife on the concrete patio and damaged the tip. I lost my temper -- very angry with myself, and hit the knife full force on the concrete. I destroyed the tip. I am ashamed to say this but I know that confession is good for the soul. Anybody want to see a pix of the knife as it is now?

Temper is a terrible thing. When I hit the concrete I chipped off the entire point, it flew and struck Yangdu in the forehead, missing her eye only an inch or two. Do I need reprimands? You bet and I'll stand up to them. I have struggled for 66 years with this temper and although I have done much to control it there are times when it controls me -- very sad.

The upside is I got in four, two wood handle and two horn. I am sending Mei-chan a horn handle for her approval.

I apologize to all for such unacceptable conduct.

From the Himalayan Imports Website:

"We pray that the knife is used only for good and that is is never drawn in anger."

Bill, what could possibly have PO'd you that much? Cranking up your blood pressure is not something you need to do. But then you probably knew that...
