Just in case you live in an area where the media refuses to report it, you guys ought to know that we had a very big event here two nights ago.
An object reported to be one mile long and a half mile wide sat stationary over Dublin, Texas for a while.
There were countless reports from people in town as well as a town ten miles away.. It even made it onto Fox news.
I am still waiting for video and pics to be released. This may be a nice big crack in the secrecy cookie...

I almost posted this up for you, Danny, but I figured that if you thought it was important enough you'd do it yourself:)

Sounds pretty big to me. I don't know what to think about UFO's the like, but it sounds like a pretty large group of people saw something.

Yea, I read this. Lots of very respected and believable witnesses too.

IMO, no way this was military.

(American/human military I mean.)

"You hear about big bass or big buck in the area, but this is a different deal," Sorrells said.
Now, that's a great line.

I thought I read somewhere where some "official" pretty much guaranteed that it was "an aircraft refracted by the sun" or some such thing. That sounds a little...well, it sounds like swamp gas and weather balloons;):D

I dunno if it is real or not, however SOMETHING got all those folks riled up, and I for one don't believe that it was refracted light off a plane.

People were viewing it with telescopes and binoculars. It was low and stationary.
It had no windows, no seams, no rivets, etc...

I thought it was funny that the two articles I came across, neither of them mentioned the name of the town.

They seemed to indicate that there are a couple of air bases nearby, so the locals would be familiar with conventional aircraft.

Stephensville is 10 miles away from Dublin. They were all seeing it at the same time but from different distances... this is a hell of a thing and I really hope the media will do more for us this time than in the past.
What are the chances that nobody took a single picture?
No video?
Maybe everybody is trying to sell their pics to the media, but nothing has been shown yet.
If the Gov is trying to scoop it all up, then they've already done a pretty bad job. I mean, FOX news is pro Bush, right? Why would they report this if they didn't feel it was ok?
Man oh man, I can't wait to see it.

A UFO being blatantly obvious!?! Looks like things are coming to a head and real quick too. I wonder if the Mayans had it correct? There calendar abruptly ends on the year 2012... Maybe alien invasion? I'm heading for the hills and taking my khukuris with me :D

This behavior is not really new. It is rare, especially over a city, but the thing that has meaning here was the next day it was reported on mainstream news channels like Fox, that have traditionally be very pro-govt. You never know.

The reports on the web from fox, cbs, and cnn, all pretty much say the same things. Same interviews, same vague details, and kind of minimized. On a side note I was in Plano a couple weeks ago. Wish something would have happened then and there.

Oh my, I didn't mean to cause such a fuss. I was just stopping by in my new ride to say Hi. I didn't think anyone would notice.:o

Seriously, I fond these stories very interesting. Thanks for the heads up Danny.

One of my friends went to college in Stephenville and one of his friends saw it. My buddy was on the phone with him while I was over there last night.

The guy in Stephenville said it was disturbing watching it. The way it moved defyed the laws of physics as he knew them. He has seen plenty of choppers out of Ft. Hood when he lived down in Kileen, and has flown in plenty of small aircraft, but he has never seen anything just float there so big for so long with no noise.

Creepy.

That's the creepiest part, to me. I could accept the thought of a craft from another planet but when they start doing things that are *impossible* in regards to physics, it starts getting very very interesting.

Something can't just go a documented 1,800 mph and make a 90-degree right hand turn. It just can't. But it did (in another case).

I don't know how fast a satellite literally travels in orbit but when fishing very late one night several years ago I was watching what I thought was a satellite and told Rick, my stepson at the time, "Look, there's a satellite!" The bright object was moving at a good rate of speed across the night sky from north to south when suddenly it quit acting like a proper satellite and instantly changed directions, about a 45* turn, and took off at an even greater rate of speed and was soon out of sight!
I looked at Rick and he looked at me and I said, " Guess it wasn't a satellite after all!"

Such things do give a person a lot to ponder over. ;) :D

In the short history of mankind we've done many "impossible" things. Fly faster than the speed of sound, split the atom, fly in space. I wouldn't rule out Extra-Terrestrial Intellignece or distortions of space and time.

"Not only is the universe stranger than we imagine, it's stranger than we can imagine."

I've seen that quote attributed to both JBS Haldane & Arthur Stanley Eddington.
