I got the last one, for 125. Then the link was deleted. But yes there normally is the link still, just depends how fast theyre on it. And it was just a normal old spec 5 in 3v with black hardware. I really can't even remember. I was just excited, pressed buy, then i couldnt go back and see lol. Cuz the link was down like you said.

Wow....

A while back, Ellie mentioned that they had a bunch of old-spec knives laying around that were essentially "scrap" because they'd moved on to the new-spec line, maybe they've started offering them for sale like that... glad they're not going to waste :thumbup:
 
I thought it was a mistake at first or maybe I was dreaming. After I bought mine I felt like I needed to press an all alert panic button for all the Survive followers on here. I don't think the Ugly Betty's are popular with nearly as many people as the seconds. I still keep thinking they will email saying it was a mistake. The link was gone later like it was all a dream. I really hope we see the 2.7 seconds and Ugly Betty's after these are gone.
 
Where there any Ugly Betty's for sale today. I thought I saw someone say there were 2.7s but I never saw it.

Yep, I distinctly remember hearing that the remnants of those previous models would never be released.
I'm glad they came to their senses. :)

There were 2.7 seconds up today for several hours. They're showing out of stock now. There are CFV 4.7s still available that say they'll ship next month.
 
The ub,s are pre made of course, so i was hoping there'd be no wait time, and ship right away. I ordered one a week ago, but still say awaiting fulfillment.

I would not expect any orders of seconds or Ugly Betty's to ship under 4 weeks at this time. There is just too much going on. The Ugly Betty's say they will ship next month.
 
I know apologist koolaid drinkers such as myself are supposed to be blind to aspects of the company that have room for improvement, but I wonder if wording could be streamlined in places on the website. Again, I'm not saying SURVIVE! needs to hire 10 extra people to sharpen knives or that they need to magically finish all preorders this week, but if changing around some wording to reflect more realistic timeliness is as easy as changing the text on the site, it could benefit expectations of customers. I'm not sure about anything being truly pre-built at this point. That is most definitely a great goal to have for when things even out in the shop, though.

Can someone tell me, do UB orders accept customizations of scales and sheath when you place the order? I'd guess that UB's may be identified before blasting, so there may still be some steps to go before they are ready to ship. And with the pre-orders also still being finished and shipped, there is some "competition" amongst those groups. If your order said something like "30-days to fulfillment" when you placed it, you may have your knife before I have my pre-order 4.7 which is at the same stage of completion.

There was no choice of scales. The ugly Betty's come with predetermined features that were listed at the lower part of the descriptions and stated they SHOULD ship out next month.
 
^ Thank you both :) In other words, all-y'all are probably delaying my 4.7 pre-order :D Hmmm.... since the UB's don't hold the warranty and aren't expected to be to the same standard as the rest of the line, I wonder if they'll use them for training new people? Is Guy still the only one sharpening knives?
 
Hahaha.. ya, i dont even know what scales and sheath mine came with. I was at work, saw it up there, and pressed buy. (Before you ..... could snake me,, again. Lol.) So i barely read the description. I dont remember seeing anything about shipping time.) Then i went back like an hr later to look at it, and they're gone of course. And it only says my order contains ub 5, awaiting fulfillment. No other info. But ill still get before your 4.7 lol.

Anyone have a picture of a regular, 2nd, and Ugly Betty to compare.... I received my regular CRUV 4.7, but am waiting on the other two. I'll post some pictures up when they arrive, but wondered if anyone had some comparison pics.
