UK shipping "my witts end" Good, Bad, or Ugly

I have shipped all manner of things across the Atlantic as well as ordering from the USA and Canada. The only problem I have ever had was when I think the woman in my local post office ripped me off and sent a package to a fellow forumite by surface rather than airmail.

Everything else has taken less than a week either direction, most things take a few days if there is no customs interference.

Global Priority is the only way to go,5.00 and it can be tracked.

Couldn't agree more. Done loads of deals with traders and individuals in the U.S., usually delivered in 7-10 days with no customs interference.

paying 50% more then the knife is worth is better then not getting the knife at all :)

lol... still hopin' it iether shows up or gets sent back....

glad to see it worked out

Shipping can be fast from the USA to the UK
Last weekend I ordered a Mel Fassio knife from Bob Glassman's web site (Custom Knife Gallery of Colorado)..... he emailed me from Chicago apologising that shipping would have to wait until he returned home from the show.... he posted it on Monday, and it was here in the UK on Thursday morning in my hands (That's almost still Wednesday your time!).
It can't get much better than that ;-)

And I am more than pleased with the knife too ;-)

Cheers
Rod

Had a knife from a fellow formite, posted from the US on Friday, in my hands on Tuesday in the UK!
