That Adamas is a beauty. You have to love the Axis lock for rough use. I don't have one, but I got to handle it in a shop last year.

Yes, but does it blend?... :D

Only joking, the adamas is a fine knife. I've been pretty happy with the performance of my ZT0300, it's held up well to hard use so far. I did heat and bend the lockbar a bit to put more tension into it as it unlocked WAY too easily before. Now the lockup feels much more solid as well.

Gotta get a pic up here later tonight...

i like ZTs but i am not a big fan of liner locks. of all the knives i EDC with, 1 is a liner lock and i dont EDC it much because its a CRKT natural with bone handles.

I've been spoiled but the axis lock

but still the natural was designed for medium/hard use while hunting

Look at the Zero Tolerance knives. I've had a 0550 and now a 0551 with Elmax, and it's a great knife. There are many YouTube videos where some guy nails and screws two 2x4's together and then proceeds to take them apart with his ZT. No resulting damage to the knife. I believe it.
Striders and Hinderers are great knives. But, ZT's are tough and 1/3 or 1/4 of the money.

dont shoot me for what i'm about to say please!
I hate zt! i think they look ugly! :p
I diss(:p) agree, but I don't think they're pretty either. They are hard use knives, solid, not just made for looks. To me tradionals are pretty, but not always hard use. I take function over form.

But he doesn't want a knife for hard use, he wants a knife that feels like it was made for hard use. He already has knives that are perfectly good for hard use--they just don't feel like it.

The zt0302 is the best hard use knife. Way better than zt0300 by a long shot!

Jk, all zt knifes are great. It has been my favorite brand since I discovered them lol. The 0300's 0560's 0200 0550's and now the 0200 are all great users. Right now then0200 has been my favorite over the last few weeks due to the finer trip than the 0350 and 0300. But as stated before in this thread zero tolerance is the way to go.

I enjoyed my Adamas as well, I just didn't like the look as much as and it was a little too handle thick for me

I guess I need a zt302 as well then to go with my 0300 & 0301st...

;):D

Raphael.C; I'm not mad at all, ZT's are hideous but they work really really well.

I've had two 0350's, an 0550 & 0551, an 0506, two 0200's and have two 030X's right now. Great knives especially at secondary market prices on the forums.:cool: All were awesome but the 0300 series have been my favourite of the bunch...

The 0300 kicked two SMF's (one g10 S30V & one aluminum S35VN) out of my collection if that says anything. SMF's are fantastic knives but they just don't have enough cutting edge for their size IMO.

I usually own 3-5 nicer knives at a time. Any more and they wot all get used. I owned a zt0300 a year ago. I sold it, picked up a smf and loved it. Decided to get another 0300 I found at a deal of a price and the smf had to go. It was taking a back seat to the 0300. Not to say one it better, it's just my preference. Both knives are phenomenal
