Gee thanks, Tony. For that remark, remember the Kephart you ordered? It won`t be done untill March of 2009! (us old guys don`t move too quick anymore) Just kidding, it`s going out tomorrow, and no you don`t get my stag firesteel.

I ussually say alot of things I wouldn't mind taking back:foot:

But that almost scared the crap out of me:eek:

That blade looks sweet John thanks so much SIR;)

that's great looking!

the 3/32 version of the ultralight is running about an ounce heavier, give or take. There's always slight varations in handles and such. I also added a touch to handle length.

I don't think a simple leather sheath has to add that much, especially with these since you can use 4-5 ounce leather, instead of 8 ounce. I'd be interested in seeing a sheath weight comparison, though.

I also just like leather.

Nice pics and review. I'm really coming around to light knives myself. The all-rounder light package can be very useful for belt carry and add a heavier stock knife in the pack if needed.

One thing not mentioned though is it seems that kydex takes the maximum advantage of light carry + compact. Leather is gorgeous, but packs on the oz's quick as can be.

A light knife seems to be a little more handy for quick deployment and casual utility cutting chores.

That Kephart rules John, Tonym is gonna love it. The handle size is a bit larger than some other Kepharts out there.

Cristof the sheath for the Ultralight- Knife 2 ounces, 3 ½ ounces w/leather sheath, only 1 1/2 ounces more.

I've got more in progress, too :D

I guess it's an ultralight knife, but There's no fear using it hard and batoning.

Bear', this would be so much easier if I just had part of my pay check direct-deposited to your account.....:D
