Guess that says it all.... Dunno if y'all noticed I ain't been around.

Some serious medical issues have cropped up that have really removed my ability for fine motor control and to grind/hammer for any useful amount of time.

God has blessed me with a time to share my love of knives with some of the greatest people on the planet. Great customers that I consider a friend, great makers that share everything they thought knew and never asked for a thing in return, not even a "thank you."

God has also blessed me with a loving wife, family and friends. These are sufficient to carry me through and that's all God has ever promised.... that we'll be sufficient for the trials we face, reckon that's good enough for me. :)

I'm not going to disappear, I got to keep some of you makers in line and tweak noses... I love the forums, I get to annoy people all around the world. And to meet some of the greatest people in the world.

Thank y'all for taking the time to read my drivel and to let me be a part of this great community.

We have noticed, and we've missed you. Will, I'm awfully sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulties. I've learned a lot from your posts and our brief private conversations. Please don't stop adding your wit and wisdom to the forum!

I'm very glad to hear that you're blessed with family and faith.

You and yours are in my prayers, and you know I'm not the only one who feels that way. Take care of yourself!

Will,

You have an understanding of what makes life sweet and that is an appreciation of what you have as opposed to what you do not have.

It has always shown in your comments and your humor on this forum.

Best regards, Fred

Will, it's a bad hand you've dealt, but you still have some aces up your sleeve. As you said "God has given them to you". Take care of yourself and we expect to see a lot more posts from you now.

Will, sorry to here about your situation.I too have noticed you not being around.I always looked forward to reading your replies, just never knew what you were going to say.

Sounds as though you will do fine.As the Good Book tells us,all things work for good for those that love the Lord.
You have added a lot to this forum,in just the time that i have been here.We will pray for you and your family.
God bless,Keith

I think the world needs more Japanese rednecks. What a wonderful thing.

Whether you're making knives, or just here hanging out, just know that you have earned the friendship of the folks on this forum. You're a unique fellow and you are enjoyed here.

I did notice you were quieter than usual. Stay on the forums and keep us in line. Sorry to hear you have some medical issues but its wonderful to still have a clear mind and love ones around. Let me know if you need anything. Enjoy retirement, You have earned it Will.

If you can't make knives for customers, maybe make one for you. Just for fun.

Take care, Craig

Prayers and best wishes headed your way! Glad to see you got your mind and faith right at least!

Dang Will
I was hoping to cross state lines and visit a fellow redneck. Even if
I am an occidental redneck.
Maybe you could give lessons from time to time.
