Cool that the Prototype has the graphic pattern of the main body of the scales. I wonder why this was not carried over into full production? Maybe long term durability?

If i understand it correctly, the pattern under the clip made it more difficult to draw from the pocket. Take it for what it's worth, but that is from memory, several years ago.

I am having a hard time understanding the pic you would like to see- From the spine of the blade, looking down on the jimping?

Which is just so classically CRK. The thing that makes the knife look flashy or embellished is actually integral to what makes it functional in use. That's the brilliance.
