No contacts, need not worry! You can try switching the current one on your knife to the lanyard hole (test drive) and see for yourself.

I got my stand off , body pin and screw in the mail from CRK yesterday and I put them in the lanyard hole on my Umnumzaan today. Turns out I like the look of just the pin and screw in the lanyard hole instead of the extra stand off. So I installed just the body pin and screw. I think it looks great. Is there any problem or issue I'm unaware of with having just the body pin and screw in there (instead of an extra stand off) ?

No, there is no difference..with exception of the missing extra backspacer that you are not using.
