My only CRK is my recent Wilson Combat 'StarTac' Umnumzaan. It was a tough decision - but I like larger knives. Sure, some chores require a fb - I may get a Nyala for that. But seriously, it's only .180" thick vs .140" on the 'zaan - and 3.75" long vs 3.625" long for the folder. The 'zaan is one serious folder - and can be one-handed open & close - with care. It should have come with the tools... but the 'zaan kit was only $14 shipped from CRK. The uniqueness of the StarTac handle design was worth the $29.95 extra - and included free s/h, too.
I compared the Sebbies for two years, off and on - only adding the new guy 'zaan to my consideration this year. I finally decided I had to have one - the ambidextrous deployment studs actually being a consideration - and I am RH-ed! Santa bringing me a Buck 172 Mayo TNT, between the small & large Sebbie in size, satiated my needs for a Sebbie... but the big 'working knife' still called to me. I celebrated my first SS retirement check by buying my most expensive knife - that StarTac 'zaan - and don't regret it for an instant - my finest folder.
I considered the recent StarTac Small Sebenza - tried several 'dress up' small Sebbies locally - just not to my desires. A large StarTac Sebbie? Maybe. It'll have a long way to go to be as popular as my 'zaan is here. It's fit, finish, & function is perfect - love the ergonomics. I normally dissect everyything - but I haven't even adjusted that pivot screw - it's fine as-is. Oh - I did remove the clip, as I do to all of my so-equipped folders. I carry in-my-pocket knives. Yeah, they eventually grow character, but that's just me - to each their own.
