Dave,

What I did is hardly worth mentioning. This day & age we all get caught up in work & everyday routines that we forget what's really important; family, friends, & just plain acting decent towards others.

I remember one time when my father, whose 74 years old by the way, got a flat tire on the side of the Long Island Expressway. A stretch where there was no lights. To make matters worse, it was pouring that night. A van full of teenagers pulled up, three guys jumped out & startled my father. They told my father to get back in the car where it was dry. Five minutes later they changed the tire, put the flat one back into the trunk, even screwed it down under the trunk mat. My father offered them money for their good deed. They refused & just told my father to drive slowly because it was one of temporary spares.

So with that, I already got my good deed & now I'm just returning it whenever I can.

I once read a quote: "The more people I meet, the more I like dogs." Although funny as it may sound, is this what our world has come to? What worries me is that I feel that way sometimes. Glad to help out anyway I can.

Regards,

David
