What companies have a warranty that is no questions asked, if you break it the company will replace it. I know ESEE has this type of warranty, but do other companies? I'm just curious to know if ESEE is the only company.

I believe as long as you don't purposely destroy the knife strider and hinderer have pretty solid warranties ! Busse i also believe has a similar warrenty as well .

I think "No question asked warranty" is overrated. Are you asking what companies will let you return a knife for replacement that you have purposely cut it half with a blowtorch? If the answer is yes, then I would ask why? Otherwise there are plenty of manufacturers that will replace a fixed blade knife if it fails. Many already been mentioned: Buck, Kershaw, BRKT, Strider, Busse kin, and I'm sure many others.

When it comes to folders I would say that ESEE warranty is not the best. I honestly have expected a bit more from them (just in the warranty statement). I think they screwed themselves on that one. I'd rather take Strider, Kershaw or Buck warranty when it comes to folders.

Does ESEE have a folder that I don't know about?

I know they have plans for folders in the future, but I don't think they have any on the market right now.

Kabar and Becker take very good care of their customers too. As long as you aren't a butt head about it, they will replace most items.

I'm sure that many people associate HEST fixed blade and HEST folder with ESEE and for a good reason. When HEST folder came out it was named around a first ESEE folder.

ESEE as far as i know of does not have a folder out right now. If you mean the HEST folder that was not produced by ESEE (same design as the fixed blade but produced by lion steel if im not mistaken)

I'm not talking about Cutting it in half with a blowtorch by any means. I'm just curious because I saw ESEE has a "No Questions Asked" warranty and that peaked my interest as to if there are other companies that have very great warranties on their products also. Like I know CRKT has good Customer Service and Warranty from personal experience (it wasn't on my knife, just my sheath though), they sent me back a new sheath with a belt plate (my original sheath was different and didn't have a belt plate) and they said the product shouldn't have failed as it did. The best thing was I got my sheath back within a week.

Well the HEST fixed blade was an ESEE product, but they have nothing to do with the HEST folder. The HEST folder was made by Lion Steel for RYP himself.

As already mentioned, the DPx HEST folder isn't an ESEE product and is actually made by Lion Steel. But DPx, whatever else one might say about them, does have a "no questions asked" warranty that, anecdotally, they seem to honor.

You're not mistaken. It is produced by Lion Steel and I know that. ESEE/DPx didn't have any problems when their name was used to advertise it to potential buyers, when Lion Steel name was not even mentioned in most cases. There are so many dealer listing saying that it is ESEE product. ESEE never cared to correct that because it worked for them. That folder got so much attention because of the ESEE name, so I think a bit of blemished reputation when it comes to it is well earned as well. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against ESEE, I think they make good knives. I'm eager to see what terms ESEE 3 folder will bring.

Sorry for taking it a bit off topic.

Well, I certainly know more about DPX, don't be so sorry effer, although off topic, I did learn something.

I have a pair of Ranger knives RD6 & RD9 from Justin's independent days. Those knives were unconditionally guaranteed. Justin Gingrich made his "fame" by having owners abuse his knives and have them survive.

Now that he sold his brand to Ontario, I'm not sure if his no-questions asked warranty will be honored any more.
