Under $10.00 Treasures you've found!

deltaboy, would you mind sharing with us what exactly you have there? I see the top 3 are Schrade Old Timers and there's a Rough Rider Barlow in there. What else do you have in that photo? Thanks!

RR mini Barlow
A Callimus 21 peanut
DE Imperial
Colonial 3 blade stockman
The last one a USA MADE but no name brass knife from Producer's Grain mill in Amarillo Tx it was a gift to my wife's Grandfather for his 20 years of service.

Bought a bag of factory second Rough Riders one time, and though I can't remember how many knives were in the bag, I remember doing the math at the time and they came out to around $4.00 each. I couldn't spot the flaws in any of them.

Also, that's a pretty nice problem to have! :D

Heh. Not so much when I have Wenger models that are sooooo close to perfect and just need a corkscrew switched to a Phillips screwdriver or the small clip point blade changed to a nail file. :D

On topic: $9 impulse buy from the other night.

440C steel per the ad. Never heard of Sarge brand, but couldn't resist wood scales + 2 blade Barlow + $9 price tag. :o

Good-looking Barlow! Is that a BSA emblem stamped on the bolster? I've heard of Sarge knives, but don't know too much about them. I had a little Sarge carver once that seemed very well-constructed; someone chose it as a prize in a GAW I ran, so I no longer have it, but here's an old photo. The wood handles are kind of similar to those on your Sarge Barlow. (But I think I paid about 50% more than $9.)
