Great thread Captain - well done - and what a great bunch of 66's

I only have the one 66, but it's one of my favourite knives. This thread is making me kinda hungry for more! :D

The 66 is a favorite of mine as well.

How about some snake wood for the serpent :)

Dang! I missed that thread...

The Mighty #66 Serpentine Jack is my most carried knife of all that ones I have - actually. I love that handle shape and the blades are so full and strong. Man... this is THE knife. There are many others great out there, but I haven´t found another pattern that found its way so easily back into my pockets... :D

Several pics, others to come (the ones I´ll show here are from an older time of my Serpentine Jack)

... the bone is a little worn out and the bolsters show hard scratches. The blades are sharpened but like a razor (and the joints are oiled) - what is not to like on this wonderful knife?!

The bottom one I posted is Grey Pearl Acrylic. It's very slivery so it's probably picking up blue highlights from the background. Here's the front and back pics. They also made this one in a jack but I don't have that one.

Great looking knife, Trand! Just a question, but is it a one-spring or a two spring construction?

Thanks Andi :) It is single spring, same thickness as a 2 blade #33 Conductor or #68 White Owl which is pretty close to the thickness of a single spring GEC knife (as long as its not one of the really large patterns, they have thicker blade stock too).

Beautiful knives, gentlemen. I am in the market for a #66 serpentine jack and a medium stockman (buckeroo). Can anyone tell me if this pattern has half-stops or no? Thanks.

Nice bullwinkle Paul. I've been eyeing one up in primitive bone but I just can't commit because I favor the jack pattern. Btw awesome collection of hj#6's

Thank you Captain, I favor the Jack myself but the Bullwinkle is slowly growing on me.

That Grey Pearl Acrylic looks great, Trand! Lots of acrylic handles do nothing for me, but that one moves me :p

Certainly a very nice sized pocketknife - in all it's many variations - my only one. OH
