Under the serpents spell: Show your #66's

I don't come to this forum much anymore but I have to share this one. The #66 is one of my favorite GEC patterns. The Rotten Banana bone is one of the most unique handle options GEC ever made, IMO.

Looked for this guy for a looong time. Very happy to have it and it's in my pocket right now. #14. Guess I can remove my sig line now. :)

Congratulations. That rotten banana 66 is a beauty. Passed on one when they were first offered, and I've regretted it since.

Thats a beautiful knife! Rotten banana (bone) is on my wish list since the first time I spotted it on Bladeforums.

I've got two #66's myself and are planning to add a stockman to the herd.

I am lucky enough to have a 66 R.B. Bone with No.21, great snap and smooth no half-stop. The Slim versions are good too but with Rotten Photobucket being OD all day I can't contribute pix :barf:

Good to see others' though:D

Part of the club! I like all of the 66 patterns, I was going to post new pics of mine but photobucket won't work for me either. You can see pics of my Mammoth slim and Cocobolo Calf Roper on the first page of this thread. Love all the new pics posted today guys.

I too appreciate the 66 frame (and 68 frame) above the standard 15 frame. The Barlow of course stands alone.

I have a few but love my 66 Slim. It's an extremely functional design in a compact package that has just the right amount of curve to it...

You guys are killing me. I've been looking for a 66 calf roper to carry as a stockman experiment but haven't found one yet. Love seeing these guys!

I have always been surprised how little love the #66 gets around here. It's a beautiful knife with very nice proportions and similar in size to the much loved #15. We have a 650 page thread with nothing but photos of TC Barlows, but the best the #66 can do is three pages? ;)
