Yes I've looked at a few of those PF and am very tempted by a few. That top one looks amazing!Every time i try to get away from knives made in China i get pulled back in. They are making some real nice stuff for the money, and theres no denying it. I got the top knife on the exchange new in box for 15.00 Petrified fish (yes they do have some weird names thats for sure ) the bottom is a petrified fish too got it for 25.00 Top knife has k110 steel machined pocket clip big solid well made knife![]()
Lol okay, fair enough. To each their own. I'd love to know if they're fakes of something that you've identified. I don't want to own counterfeits. But if you just don't like them because KJ also does clones... well that won't stop me as long as what I buy are originals.
I'm not sure, I don't seek them out. But from a poster before it would appear that either this is indeed the case or some seller is using the KJ name to sell their fakes after his apparent previous success in doing so. Either way my line is clear, as long as what I buy is legit I don't care about what else can be associated with that designer/maker.I believe Kevin John were originally only a counterfeit company. I guess what with so many Chinese makers going legit they are trying the same, but are playing both sides of the fence in continuing to make fakes as well.
I got the knife center exclusive and I can't open mine with the thumb studs. I have to press the button and swing the blade out. It's a shame because it did seem like a fantastic knife.I'm at work and not carrying it today so no pic. Not necessarily the brand overall, but a few days ago I picked up one of the CJRB Pyrite's in all stainless. I must say that is quickly becoming one of my favorite knives to daily.
It has stolen quite a bit of pocket time from my TRM Neutron 2 and my BM Mini Freek, both of which cost 4 to 5 times as much. It's a hell of a knife for $50 bucks..

Cool story, don't care, I'm new as you pointed out, so that history isn't my baggage. Again, I only cited his Venom stuff, which again, as far as I can tell are originals. That's all I've bought and own and that's all I'm recommending. I really feel like this is going in circles at this stage. You joined here, what? Tuesday? Kevin John has a long history around this forum.
And that's totally fair, I'm not asking you to. I simply made a very specific recommendation. If you choose to ignore it or discredit it because of some kind of association you have with it, then thats your choice. All I'm saying is don't play the guilt by association accusation game with me. I won't let it happen. They're are no fingers to be pointed, no shame to be had and no virtue to signal about.A lot of us enthusiasts do care about the negative impacts cloners make on knife makers and companies we love.
Kevin John and other Chinese manufactures that make clones and fakes are not going to get high praise from me.
Another under-rated knife is the Kershaw Link. 40 bucks, robust, made in the US, and cuts great.
Nah. It's not a good product. A company willing to steal and lie is not typically associated with making good stuff. And that's totally fair, I'm not asking you to. Also is exactly this kind of stuff that only drives me to boast about it more just to tick people like that off. A good product should be touted. End of story.
So you're happy with directly funding counterfeiting/IP theft, as long as the particular models you purchase aren't quite knock-offs. Got it. That's some serious moral gymnastics you've got going on there.Lol okay, fair enough. To each their own. I'd love to know if they're fakes of something that you've identified. What's that quote? Never converse with someone whom is intent on misunderstanding you.

Maybe so, but I’m not putting a coin in my pocket if there’s sh*t on one side of it.There's a flip side to every coin.
Then it won't be a place worth being and will be literally of zero consequence to me. Reality is that you're right, I won't be here long because I lose interest in knives quickly as they aren't interesting enough to hold mine for long. So good news for you!LOL Dude, you won’t last long here.
Too literal, but sure, you do you and I'll do the same and we don't have to worry about what the other is doing.Maybe so, but I’m not putting a coin in my pocket if there’s sh*t on one side of it.
This is why I won't buy TwoSun. I refuse to buy a product not sold by reputable dealers. I'm sure it's a fine product, but unli can buy it from a place I trust, no thanks.Nah. It's not a good product. A company willing to steal and lie is not typically associated with making good stuff.
If you want to support and boast about thieves, you do you.
It is not virtue signaling, it's trying to help protect and support legit companies that we all know and care about.
