I am far from being an expert, only having two Kesar blades and a Bura. My Kesar Sirupati and Chitlangi are both very nice blades. In fact, the 21 inch Sirupati is so pretty I can't bring myself to use it.
The Chitlangi is a light user, and I am very happy with it. The hardness is excellent and I can put a screaming sharp edge on it. It is my ready-at-hand-night-time khukuri.
But I have to admit that my Bura AK is definitely an example of a higher level of craftsmanship. The grinds are more perfect, and the fit and finish are superior. Bura pays attention to the little details that, while not necessarily making any difference in performance, make the difference between a good and a great bladesmith. The pride he takes in his work is evident.
Just the opinion of a newbie...
