A thread about a week ago about selling unfinished blades got me thinking, I do not remember seeing any blades only for sale here before.
I have sold quite a few unfinishes blades to re-enactors and some people just trying their hand. And since I have more smithwork and welding right now I don't have much grinder time, so I was thinking of offering up some blades only.
The first one is forged 1084, differential heat treated, and taken to 220 grit
blade is approx 5 1/4 in, 8 1/2 oa 3/16" spine with a slight distal taper
no maker's mark.
here is a scan of the blade, you should be able to pick out the hamon. Sorry the scanner missed the very tip
