Unofficial Rat Chat!

Have you expressed this to them. If you make it known, they would probably offer some beer, at the very least. I agree that it's pretty weak to do that to your pops. :D

I know i cant add frivolous posting to the "Be part of Rat Cutlery" thread but D@&* that is just cool. Jeff and Mike and the guys at Rowen. you all freaking rock. you guys have a GREAT thing going here. Keep it up! i know ill surrport you guys for as long as the company stands, and btw the Izula is awesome. i must have more than the one i already own.

Just felt like singing Rat Cutlery/Rowen Praises...

How is "Izula" meant to be pronounced? My neighbor said Izula just how it looks like it would sound, and people in reviews say Izulu ..
Which is it?

That is what I thought. Just got annoying watching reviews on youtube where they say it Izulu.

I would not allow it. Roundabout comments to the lazy bastard like... Even the Romans gave their slaves beer for labour...etc... or a to the point "buy my old man a case of beer you cheap s.o.b.
If it grates or rubs raw just "fix it" and you will have the satisfaction of your dad happy chopping wood with a little deserved reward.

I hope you guys don't mind me posting a few photos.

Yesterday I went fishing for the first time this year, went on the Leeds-Liverpool canal and yes I took my RC-3 with me!

Door to door I walked about 5 miles.

"Match the hatch".

An old lady took the picture for me. I caught the pike on the jig.

I then walked to Kirkstall Abbey which is one of Britain's best preserved abbeys, it was founded in 1152 by a party of Cistercian monks from Fountains Abbey. In 1534 it was closed down in the ‘Dissolution of Religious Houses’ ordered by Henry VIII. The monks were pensioned-off, the roofs stripped of lead and some buildings converted for agricultural use.

Not me (I wish!!!), I believe this pike was caught and returned in Holland, what a whopper! That thing could easily eat a duck!

a ten pound pike will eat a five pound bass.

this happened pretty close to where i go every summer:

the smaller Pike is 36 inches. as the guy was reeling it in, the larger Pike tried to take it. he landed both. large one was 55 inches and weighed 56 pounds and is a new Canadian record.

My son with Martini international with Unertl Scope, He has turned into a better shooter than me, I think it is because he doesn't worry about it too much

My son with a martini international w/ Unertl scope. He shoots better than I do now. I think it is because he doesn't worry about the score the way I do.

I haven't learned the Zen of shooting.

it's possible. i got the pics in an email from a guy who fishes in the same place as me... either way, it's impressive.
