I think it would be less the hipster crowd that would go for it and more like the hunters, campers, mudders, etc. Rougher and rowdier folk. Cabela's and Bass Pro would sell them by the barrel.
You're right; those outfits sell all manner of fashionable junk too. The amount of money that people frivolously 'pee away' in these places is staggering.

It's subjective. Let's drop it.

I think El Lobo was just ahead of its time. Something like that would totally sell today.

I think El Lobo was focused for the western lovers, taking in account how does this hatchet look like I think it was not the right market. Those of you who know what is a warhammer ork is, think in their jaws and banners and now look to a El Lobo hatchet.

Every time I see this type of axe what it remembers me are not wolves but warhammer orks. Quite a big amount of people plays Warhammer and they use to have plenty of cash, look at how much do miniatures cost. It's a bit childish but if we talk about making profit with El Lobo in order to restart production it could be a good idea to sell them as ork axes.

Take in account what a normal axe uses to cost is in the lower side of what this people uses to spend in their hobby. Council could end producing a full range of axes if they enter this market. I would love to have a 2Kg Tasmanian felling axe (with 16 degrees bit) with those jaws. I see renamed El Lobo axes as,

"Da axez for da WHAAAAAARG!!!"

LOL Every boy will want one.
