Upcoming VIPER Swayback

I need more time to think about it, which thankfully I will have but so far I like the Swayback. It won't keep me from getting one but I'd rather have another Titanium bolster at the butt end.

Not sure.
I like that it appears to have an actual spring rather than detents. Another Viper slippie I own has detents for half-stops, etc. I like a backspring.

Ohh I like this. It looks good, plus it’ll be easily purchasable. That’ll make me happy, haha.

I think it's a great looking knife. I've been thinking abiut trying a sway back. I've never been a fan, they just look odd. But they have grown on me. I'll wait to see each offering before I decide though.

They look well made. The modern handle materials (titanium, micarta, and CF) and torx screws make these knives a little confusing to me...I guess I'm old fashioned.

I'd like to see the stag before committing.

A thumb stub and pocket clip (Case Trapperlock) would be nice.

Pardon my ignorance...who makes these? GEC did make a Viper...but I doubt they own the word Viper..
Carbon fibre? Torx screws?
Just curious:)

Viper is a long-ish established knife manufacturer in Italy, been making knives since 1987 - however, they're founded on a great tradition in the knife making community of Maniago...........where all our lionSTEEL folders come from, and akin to a modern day Italian version of Sheffield..!

Only better quality than Sheffield;)

What size are these? And will there be Ram's Horn?

They are 3 5/8 inches closed and the current handle material options are as follows:

OD Canvas Micarta
Black Carbon Fiber
Bocote Wood
Blue Maple Wood
Stag

Mike will drop one of the handle material options at a later date but at this point we don't know which one.
