**UPDATE 4/27/16** Fiddlebacks lost in post - keep an eye out.

Great news! Now we just need Gus to report the same regarding the one he's been looking for!

Thanks Guys, I am sooo happy. The Kephart (and RLo sheath) has accompanied me all over the world, survived 2 typhoons, and been stolen and returned. To have lost it when shipping to myself from Florida to Tennessee would have been very frustrating.

I had just about given up on my package ever arriving as the Post Office didn't seem particularly interested in helping me use credit card transaction details to track the shipment.
Long story short; the address I shipped the package to is located on a National Guard station just outside Nashville, i was chatting to an officer assigned to the internal post service for the National Guard and mentioned I was trying to track down a box i had shipped to myself. he said "your name isn't Julian by any chance is it?" My jaw dropped and and I gave him a hug...I just had to wait until today for confirmation...

Beloved first Fiddleback, 2 other beauties and my Fiddleback Forge band-aid dispenser (used too frequently) back home!

Faith in man restored, maybe not the USPS just yet....

Wow. That is cool as hell!

Glad to hear you found your stuff!!!! Ok so give us some of the details how did it end up there? Was it the base or the USPS fault?

Cheers. I'll be honest I can't really figure out where the blame lies. The package was shipped January 8th to myself at our business address on the base. The attempted delivery was on monday 11th so somebody should have been there but the delivery person claims there was nobody there so he took it to the base post office rather than leave a card/note to notify of attempted delivery. The people at the base didn't recognize my name (business name was listed also) and so it got sent to the central National Guard station in Nashville where it sat until I had my chance meeting with the guy who works for the National Guard post service. They said they were planning to return to sender (myself) soon.
My feeling is the USPS should have left a note to notify of attempted delivery and to pickup at post office or request redelivery. The tracking showed delivered to agent - which means nothing to me - I didn't even know there was a post office on base!
Anyhow, it all worked out eventually and perfect timing as I am leaving the country again on 14th May.
