Update on John

Just got back from seeing the oncologist to get results from the PET CT Scan I had last week (for this type of CT they inject a special sugar liquid that detects cancer cells in the body).

NO CANCER DETECTED!!!

This coming Sunday I will be in remission 5 months, it’s a good start!

I do need to get a B12 shot every 30 days, and may need iron infusions again, but I can deal with that.

Dang it John, that is great news my friend. I'm so happy for you!

Got my results from several recent tests. I have been diagnosed with emphysema and chronic diastolic heart failure. On a brighter note, April 22nd will be one year since my cancer surgery, looks like I’m still in remission, I’ll know more after my CT scans in late May. I guess I should be happy that I’ve made it almost 72 years so far.
