update on Jonny1280's broken Camillius BK9

This is Jonny1280 at Becker west about to take his first swing at the 4x4 with his Camillius BK9.

It’s ok, man..



After the breakage he is all smiles!



After Becker west, Jonny got some gear from me and I asked if I could have his broken BK9. He sent it to me and this is what I made with the broken blade side.



I added some finger grooves and put and edge on the false edge.



Sanded down the black finish and etched a random pattern and made it black again. The handle section might just get a chisel grid not sure yet.



Gonna add a sheath with better pictures as the sun comes out today.

But what you did with the blade portion is very creative. At least something good came of it.

Nice doing with with it, I would've kept you basic shape but ran the edge all the way done through the 1st finger groove, gone for a more tang-like structure, and Voila, a Becker warthog.

Hey slap some G-10 on there, but whatever you do....please don't put any "holes" in it. You might rattle some cages.

So here's what I did with the handle section. I wasn't sure what to do with it cause the blade section was small so I made a Skinner or a tacticool tool!

Field dressing kit, kill off and Skinner
Bk Phoenix lives!!

What do you all think? I know the handles are a bit wide for this mini combat bowie but I wanted to post something, gonna probably add a different set of handles when I have some time.
