Thought I'd post this here since some of the people have seen this knife in person during it's early stages.

It started out as a drawing.

Initial shaping.

And here it is today! Still need to smooth down the pins, hand sand the micarta, polish the spine, and get the edge hair popping sharp.

I love canvas micarta, soft, grippy, and very tacky when wet.

This is my second knife so far, it's not perfect but I'm pretty happy with it. I can't believe how much time and effort it took me to make it, so  to all you knife makers out there, or anyone who makes anything they're passionate about.

And thanks to everyone who helped make this knife possible, everything from helping me refine the design, cutting the micarta, heat treating, and teaching me what to do; you know who you are.

A quick picture of the pikal sporting black linen micarta, still needs a lot of work on the handles.

That is awesome! Must be a great feeling getting to use a blade you made yourself.

lol I had this moment of confusion when I got to the third pic.
"omg he made a perfect Busse clone!? ...oh wait...scroll down a bit more...Ahhhhhhh the second knife."

Great looking blade MrPink, I hope my stuff turns out 1/4 as nice.

Thanks everyone. If I do a passaround, I'll do a version with longer handles, I made this one to fit my hands.

Smoothed the pins, polished the spine, and put on the final edge.
