Update on Westllen :(

Great to hear that Jules is improving. Janie, you have become a member of this extended family (not sure that is a good thing ;)).

Just let him know there is a gaggle of us pulling for him and thinking of him each day.

Awww, thank you Gus:D Jules has always spoken so highly of so many of you and now I know why.

No worries Gus, once Jules is back on line, I will be back in the kitchen ;) But will always keep in touch with all of you thru Jules.

Thanks for the update! Please tell my ST Ripper Twin that he is missed and I'm praying for him, and you as well. God Bless.

westllen,

Just wanted to say that I hope this is a better day for you and you are in our thoughts.

It's a fine, busy humpday ... and I'm still wishing all the best for Jules and Junie. :D:thumbup:

Thinking 'bout you, bro! Looking forward to you being back in the mix on the forums!

:) ...Still hoping that you're getting better by the day, westllen!! We miss ya, brother, and I believe I speak for all of us when I say that we are very much looking forward to your triumphant return to the Trough.:thumbup: Hang tough, stay positive!

As of today he's had another MRI and another chest xray.

Chest Xray showed that the lung still isn't healed, therefore we have to hold off on his radioiodine treatment for at least another 2 weeks. He'll have another chest xray done around the end of the month and then see the dr 2 weeks from today, if all is clear, it's a go and he get's his treatment in order to kick the butt of this cancer!

MRI findings: They have confirmed that the mass behind the pancreas is a "problem". Exactly what kind of problem we won't know until we see another specialist on Monday morning.

I will post on Monday what the doctor has to say.

He's eating better on some days, other's not so well. BUT I have learned to tell him he can't play with his knives until he eats his veggies ;) Works like a charm ;)

Once again, we want to thank you for all your prayers and well wishes, we truly appreciate them all.

Best to all

Janie

I am going to see a specialist on Thursday for a special endoscope proceedure where they will do a biopsy of the tumor by the pancreas. We will have more info on what direction to go in after this is done.

I would like to personally thank all of you for all the support, emails, cards, gifts, calls to Janie and I these past 2 months.

It makes me proud to be a member of this forum.

The clouds are passing ... the rain is gone ... after 4 days. It's a lovely day in Virginia, and we are thinking good thoughts of Jules and Janie.
